The Southern Maryland Telework Centers are equipped with everything necessary in a professional office environment.

Each center is complete with the following:

Furnishings: 

• Modular workstations
• Lockable personal storage for each workstation

Computers:

• Networked personal computers
• Intel Dual-Core CPU, 2.13 - 3.0 GHz, 1GB-2GB RAM
• 80GB hard drive
• 17/19" flat panel color monitor w/usb
• Keyboards with integrated smart card reader
• DVD/CDRW drive

The centers also support company or agency provided laptops and other equipment.

• Firefox/Internet Explorer
• Adobe Acrobat Reader

Client-provided software installed upon request

Data communications: 

Remote access communication with agency networks is provided using:

• High Speed Business Class Internet Service (Waldorf Center/Prince Frederick Center)
• Advanced fiber-optic (Laurel Center)

Telephones:

• Individual voice lines with private voice mail

Conference Room:

• Conference rooms are available for use by teleworkers  

Free Parking:

• Free parking right outside the front door of each center
