Door The Jefferson County Telework Center at BizTech was established in 1997, through the partnership between Jefferson County Development Authority and General Services Administration.

The purpose of the Jefferson County Telework Center is to accommodate the federal employees who commute to work outside the Eastern Panhandle. The center offers alternative workspace to reduce or eliminate long commutes. Federal employees are able to work closer to home, reduce their carbon footprint, and decrease traffic congestion. Telework Centers also contribute to employee work productivity verses time spent traveling to work.
